When women who bear a striking resemblance to her are murdered, supermodel and occasional werewolf, Lou Kinipski, finds herself in all sorts of strife. Not only does she need to find out who the killer is, but there’s her past to discover, the seemingly never-ending task of hair removal, trying not to go wolfy in public and oh so many men to fend off. How is a girl supposed to cope?

Chic-lit meets the paranormal in this light story by Rhonda Thompson. “Confessions of a Werewolf Supermodel” is an incredibly easy read that won’t stretch you too far. The protagonist is believable and you can see her growth over the course of the book and, more importantly, the secondary characters are more than two-dimensional.

The world-building is getting there – there are questions still unanswered, especially regarding Lou Kinipski. Of the mysteries presented, most of the conclusions weren’t unexpected and lack of answers makes me want to read the next volume if only to get to the bottom of the story.

A light-hearted romp, you won’t want to get a refund on the afternoon you’ll spend reading this.
