A meme

1) Something you have an unreasonable fear of (could be several things).
Spiders. Too many legs makes GB a little ill...
2) Something that gives you great joy.
Spending time with my friends, a job well done, looking out over vistas in the arms of the one I love.
3)Something familiar you are drawn to in spite of zero information or contact- an animal, a place, a sort of person, a culture you cannot help but be drawn to in spite of the lack of knowledge, you JUST KNOW.
England, big cats, Macchu Pichu.
4) Comfort food when you are down.
Chocolate
5) What EXACTLY are you wearing right now?
Jeans, beige wool blend skivvy, brown closed in shoes - the usual work attire for this time of year.
6) Are you musically inclined?
I can find a beat with my feet, but cannot sing. I will learn to play the violin one day.
7) If you could go back in time and change something, what would you change?
There comes a point in your life where you stop thinking about the things you could change. One, because the reality is that there is no such thing as travelling back in time and to wish to do so is pointless; and two, because if I were to change anything, I would not be the woman I am now and I would not have met everyone I know along the way.
8) If you MUST be an animal for ONE day, what would you be?
A pet big cat. Huge and powerful and yet still wanting to sit on a lap and be petted.
9) Ever have a near death experience?
Thankfully not.
10) Name an obvious quality you have.
Loyalty, but betray me once and you will not get a second chance.
11) What's the name of the song that's stuck in your head right now?
Some hard-core dance song from the Blade soundtrack after reading a fic.
12) Have you ever vandalized someone's private property?
No
13) Have you ever sung in front of a large audience?
Yes, as a matter of fact. I was one of many high school kids in a choral school choir when I was in year 8.
14) What is the first thing you notice about the opposite sex?
Eyes.
15) What do you usually order from Starbucks?
I try to avoid it on principle.
16) Has anyone ever said you looked like a celebrity?
My mum once said that I reminded her of Greta Scacchi, but she needed new glasses at the time.
17) Do you still watch kiddy movies or TV shows?
Some kiddy movies have things in it for adults. They must in order to appeal to the parents who take their children to see the movies in the first place. The last 'kiddy movie' I saw was Narnia. I have only two shows I watch per week and those are 'Supernatural' and 'Prison Break'; if the plotlines aren't great then there is eye candy.
18) Did you have braces?
No, but I needed then. We just didn't have the money.
19) What is the most romantic thing someone has ever done for you?
I was bought tiger stuffed toy, just because he thought I would like it. It was a great thought until he told me how little it cost him. Gr.
20) A moment in time where life stood still and you knew the next moments were going to have one hellava impact on your life.
I've had only one. It was the day when I realised that I would be so much better off leaving than staying in the relationship I was in. Big, defining moment in my life and I'm glad it happened.
